Design Metaphysics: An Exercise in Abductive Reasoning III (Addendum)

Conceptual impressions surrounding this post have yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network.

I believe the field of design metaphysics is subconsciously apparent and unwittingly revealed in many of the investigative efforts that create and give rise to the scientific paradigm. I believe certain design "attributes" are symbolically veiled in the form of perception and observation. In reference to pursuing this supposition I have pointed out and commented upon the events and revelations resulting from these investigations. In turn, I hope to uncover the intimate relationship between the scientific method and the field of design metaphysics.

Einstein Finally Warms Up to Quantum Mechanics? “The Solution Is Shockingly Intuitive”

Kyoto University. Feb. 6, 2022

“A research team at Kyoto University’s Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics has now proposed a novel approach to this long standing problem by defining energy to incorporate the concept of entropy. Although a great deal of effort has gone into reconciling the elegance of general relativity with quantum mechanics, team member Shuichi Yokoyama says, “The solution is shockingly intuitive.”

The research team has observed that the conservation of charge resembles entropy, which can be described as a measure of the number of different ways of arranging parts of a system.

And there’s the rub: conserved entropy defies this standard definition.

The existence of this conserved quantity contradicts a principle in basic physics known as Noether’s theorem, in which conservation of any quantity generally arises because of some kind of symmetry in a system.

"An important concept in physical systems is that of order and disorder (also known as randomness). The more energy that is lost by a system to its surroundings, the less ordered and more random the system is. Scientists refer to the measure of randomness or disorder within a system as entropy. High entropy means high disorder and low energy (Figure 1). To better understand entropy, think of a student’s bedroom. If no energy or work were put into it, the room would quickly become messy. It would exist in a very disordered state, one of high entropy. Energy must be put into the system, in the form of the student doing work and putting everything away, in order to bring the room back to a state of cleanliness and order. This state is one of low entropy. Similarly, a car or house must be constantly maintained with work in order to keep it in an ordered state. Left alone, the entropy of the house or car gradually increases through rust and degradation. Molecules and chemical reactions have varying amounts of entropy as well. For example, as chemical reactions reach a state of equilibrium, entropy increases, and as molecules at a high concentration in one place diffuse and spread out, entropy also increases."

3D space/time describes a systemic state/dimension of low entropy. Three dimensional space/time appears and disappears within a cacophony of entropic intensity beyond measurement/awareness, i.e. a QFVPP.

Modulating streams of potential, i.e. energy in motion/randomness, await focus/recognition. Potential "forms" of energy, light and information appear chaotic until symbolically patterned by means of coherent resonance. (design).

modulate verb [with object] exert a modifying or controlling influence on: the state attempts to modulate private business's cash flow.       vary the strength, tone, or pitch of (one's voice): we all modulate our voice by hearing it.       alter the amplitude or frequency of (an electromagnetic wave or other oscillation) in accordance with the variations of a second signal, typically one of a lower frequency: radio waves are modulated to carry the analog information of the voice.       [no object] Music change from one key to another: the first half of the melody, modulating from E minor to G.       [no object] (modulate into) change from one form or condition into (another): ideals and opinions are not modulated into authoritative journalese.

"Covariance In probability theory and statistics, covariance is a measure of the joint variability of two random variables.[1] If the greater values of one variable mainly correspond with the greater values of the other variable, and the same holds for the lesser values (that is, the variables tend to show similar behavior), the covariance is positive.[2] In the opposite case, when the greater values of one variable mainly correspond to the lesser values of the other, (that is, the variables tend to show opposite behavior), the covariance is negative. The sign of the covariance therefore shows the tendency in the linear relationship between the variables. The magnitude of the covariance is not easy to interpret because it is not normalized and hence depends on the magnitudes of the variables. The normalized version of the covariance, the correlation coefficient, however, shows by its magnitude the strength of the linear relation."

Design metaphysics embraces the concept of joint variability (covariance) by virtue of the symbolic relationships created between form and formlessness, events and experiences, meaning and purpose.

The symbolic coupling/s between mind/emotion, emotion/feeling, intuition/intellect, tangible/intangible best describe the beginnings of a design conscious network.
