The Design Particle
Conceptual impressions surrounding this post have yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network.
Design is analogous to a neutron, a ghost-like agent of energy in motion central in understanding the concept of change/energy (CE). We become aware of change due to attractions, references and observations made between two or more things. Change emerges in reference to an observer and a context in which an event and/or experience is being observed. Change underlies every binary system.
the neutron: a subatomic particle of about the same mass as a proton but without an electric charge, present in all atomic nuclei except those of ordinary hydrogen.
The design particle is symbolically expressed in what science has defined, tagged and identified as the neutron.
Neutrons accommodate and facilitate the flow of energy in motion. They create the gateways for the transmission, transition and transformation of energy between agencies that are key in the development and construction of networks and patterns of energy in motion.
Neutrons exist beyond the imagination and virtually embrace the concepts of potential and probability.
Neutrons are what invite and facilitate creative action. Design consciousness harbors and perpetuates all forms of creativity.

Nuclear Physicists Work to Unravel Strange Mystery of the Neutron Lifetime US Department of Energy October 27, 2020
The neutron is one of the building blocks of matter, the neutral counterpart to the positive proton. Like many other subatomic particles, the neutron doesn’t last long outside of the nucleus. Over the course of about 15 minutes, it breaks apart into a proton, an electron, and a tiny particle called an anti-neutrino.
"Theories come and go, but the neutron lifetime seems to remain a central parameter in a variety of things."
The neutron is a useful guide to understanding other particles. It’s the simplest particle that is radioactive, which means that it regularly breaks down into other particles.
The universe was cooling rapidly. At a certain point, it got cool enough that protons and neutrons almost instantaneously joined to form helium and hydrogen. If neutrons decayed a little faster or slower into protons, it would have vast effects on that process. There would be a very different balance of elements in the universe; it’s likely that life wouldn’t exist.

How Long Does a Neutron Live? Physicists Make Most Precise Measurement Yet California Institute of Technology November 2, 2021
Particles called neutrons are typically very content inside atoms. They stick around for billions of years and longer inside some of the atoms that make up matter in our universe. But when neutrons are free and floating alone outside of an atom, they start to decay into protons and other particles. Their lifetime is short, lasting only about 15 minutes.

Party Pairs: No Matter the Size of a Nuclear Party, Some Protons and Neutrons Will Always Pair up and Dance Jennifer Chu MIT Nov. 14, 2020
Atoms in a gas can seem like partiers at a nanoscopic rave, with particles zipping around, pairing up, and flying off again in seemingly random fashion. And yet physicists have come up with formulas that predict this behavior, even when the atoms are extremely close together and can tug and pull on each other in complicated ways.
The environment within the nucleus of a single atom seems similar, with protons and neutrons also dancing about. But because the nucleus is such a compact space, scientists have struggled to pin down the behavior of these particles, known as nucleons, in an atom’s nucleus. Models that describe the interactions of nucleons that are far apart break down when the particles pair up and interact at close range.
For years, he has wondered whether a concept in atomic physics known as contact formalism could also apply to nuclear physics and the inner workings of the nucleus.
Very broadly, contact formalism is a general mathematical description that proves the behavior of atoms in a cloud depends on their scale: Those that are far from each other follow a certain physics, while atoms very close together follow an entirely separate set of physics. Each group of atoms goes about their interactions oblivious to the behavior of the other group. According to contact formalism, for instance, there will always be a certain number of ultraclose pairs, regardless of what other, more distant atoms are doing in the cloud.

In other words, short-range nucleons behaved independently of their larger-scale environment, similar to how atomic behavior is described through contact formalism.

New Realm of “Unnuclear Physics” – Neutrons May Actually “Talk to One Another in New Kind of Symmetry Louise Lerner, University of Chicago Sept. 2, 2021
“Everything surrounding us is made out of particles— a localized dot in space that can carry energy—but his idea was that in nature, maybe there could be something that carries energy, but is less crisp and more fuzzy,” said Son. “He playfully called this concept an ‘unparticle.’”
Son and Hammer observed that as the neutrons stream out and away, a few that are going in the same direction may continue to “talk” to one another—even after the others have stopped interacting. This sustained communication between neutrons could constitute a fuzzy “unnucleus,” with its own properties distinct from normal nuclei.
This could be a manifestation, the scientists said, of a type of symmetry called conformal symmetry. Symmetries are fundamental to modern physics; they are common features that remain even as a system changes—the most famous being that the speed of light is constant throughout the universe.
In conformal symmetry, a space distorted, but all angles are kept unchanged. For example, when one draws a 2D map of the entire 3D Earth, it is impossible to preserve all distances and angles at the same time.
“This conformal symmetry does not appear in the Standard Model of physics, but it does feature in Georgi’s ‘unparticle’ proposal, and it also appears here,” Son said. The proportion of energy carried by each particle in the “unnucleus” remains unchanged even as the distance between them changes.

The Source of the "Design Particle"
Hannes Alfven, Plasma and Electromagnetic Space
“Because Alfven showed that the Universe has this vast network of plasma filaments carrying electric currents, he also showed that the Universe is full of electromagnetic current fields. In fact, Alfven’s electric currents in space produce a complex and dynamic interaction of magnetic fields, magnetic currents and electric fields throughout space. The charging of particles in plasmas and space by electromagnetic fields in turn modifies the electromagnetic fields. Whereas once space was thought of as empty, we now know that at a subatomic and quantum level, space is a jungle of plasma, a highly charged creative ecosystem – with matter in the form of particles being one of the things it creates.”
