Riding the Wave of Consciousness via Intelligence

The QFVPP symbolizes energy, light and information as a quantifiable, qualifiable and multidimensional design 'field'. By virtue of attraction and repulsion, i.e. vibration, patterns of energy in motion (EIM) appear to both combine and deconstruct (change). Energy in motion (EIM) appears to change as result of the dynamics created between the context of the event/experience and the observer.

Energy in motion (EIM) is binary in quality and can be described as two identifiably different, yet correspondingly comparable, conditions.
Condition 1: EIM is perceived and/or observed in a static condition as a particle, unit, agent, element or singularity.
Condition 2: EIM is perceived and/or observed in a non-static condition in the form of a wave, projection, vector or agency.
singularity: the state, fact, or condition of being singular. A point at which a function takes an infinite value.
vector: a quantity having a direction as well a magnitude, especially as determining a position of one point in spacetime relative to another.
agent: a person or a thing that takes an active role or produces a specified effect, the doer of an action, proxy, author, executor, operator, cause, origin, root, catalyst, source
agency: action, activity, force, power, vehicle, medium, instrument, channel, mode.

Energy is constantly changing. Energy is in endless pursuit of balance and equilibrium. In the quest for balance contexts change, qualities emerge (+ -) correspondences begin (design) and the intangible embraces the potential and probability of becoming tangible. 

Links between 'agents of change' become recognized and measured by virtue of the patterns they create and/or reject. In reference to human intelligence, these impressions have been categorized into patterns of opinion, facts, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

In essence, chaos could be identified as a product of the Universe's drive towards equilibrium and harmony. Forms of intelligence appear in response to the context in which an event or experiences is observed. At times humanity can be very opinionated in the face of facts and knowledge. Such a 'form of intelligence' has little or no understanding. Due to a multitude of circumstances, the concepts of intelligence and emotions (feelings) are difficult and at times impossible to measure. 

Chaos and turbulence are the by-products of the pursuit for balance and harmony.   

Intelligent, flexible, creative and adaptable correspondences between 'agents' of EIM can be created, maintained and sustained by means of design, i.e. signs, symbols, metaphor and analogy.

Intelligence is a conceptual network of energy patterns in perpetual flux (expansion, contraction, coherence and incoherence). The Universe is Conscious Intelligence, a latticework of Awareness connected by Design.

Every impression within the QFVPP can be designed as to having its own unique meaning and purpose. For example, among the many timelines that together create the fabric of spacetime, each vibrates, is identified and measured by virtue of its frequency 




The Universe is the multidimensional embodiment of a Design Consciousness.

String theory describes one of an infinity of patterns of EIM that together weave the fabric of a QFVPP.

WHY DESIGN THINKING (CONSCIOUSNESS) IS IMPORTANT

Design thinking requires a FOCUS about which a broad series of IMPRESSIONS created, felt and/or made apparent within a CONTEXT designated for OBSERVATION.

Ripples in the fabric of consciousness are generated, i.e. created, about a common center, focal point, center of attention, linchpin, nucleus, hub, heart, central point. Focusing brings essence to a point.




Focusing harbors a seed worthy of observation that grows by virtue of sign, symbol, analogy and metaphor, i.e. design.

Design thinking:
- encourages a wide collection of thoughts and feelings. 
- encourages a wide range of collective interpretation surrounding a commonly shared event, experience, goal or objective.
- encourages the blending of the intuition and imagination with meaning and purpose. 
- supports and enlightens all past, present and future experiences.
- encourages a metaphoric, analogical and symbolic interpretation of spacetime.
- encourages a broad and inclusive interpretation of the thoughts and feelings of self and others.
- encourages the finite and exclusive interpretation of the thoughts and feelings of self and others.
- requires the development of a close relationship between thinking and feeling.

- requires facts, knowledge, understanding, integrity, benevolence, compassion, trust, attentiveness, discretion, vigilance, caring, wisdom, alertness, discernment, precaution, decency, thankfulness, empathy, enthusiasm, self-respect, self-understanding, calm, self-confidence, self-caring, desire, patience, passion, cheerfulness and love.

- is all inclusive, cohesive and coalescent.

- can reach beyond the constraints of spacetime.
- is both meaningful and purposeful.
- is at the point of all consciousness.

Design Hypothesis:
Consciousness is conceptual, illusional, symbolic, metaphoric and virtual in character. Consciousness is the quintessential archetype. Consciousness is the concomitant consequence associated with a range of multidimensional patterns of energy in motion whose origin rests beyond the subconscious.

Awareness brings forth a "sense of consciousness" by fostering correspondences and fusing the concepts of meaning and purpose. Metaphysical in content and context, quantum, fractal and holographic in representation, all forms of energy/Life are revealed and made apparent by means of Design. Design describes a metaphysical and multidimensional process. The design process is dependent upon knowledge, understanding, intention, intuition, imagination and awareness. Design creates a network of energy in motion (EIM) between fields/states/points/agents and patterns of awareness. Design creates a virtual, symbiotic and metaphoric lattice between consciousness, the subconscious and the unconscious, the tangible and the intangible, the known and the unknown, the seen and the unseen. Infinity and Beyond Part 2

Below is an article from the magazine 'Physics World'. Parts have been called out and highlighted in red for the purpose of both revealing and discussing the relationship between scientific and design investigation and interpretation of events and experiences surrounding the birth and emergence of a "universe". An expanding universe is simulated in a quantum droplet         March 22, 2023     by Campbell McLauchlan

"To study this cosmological model, the researchers began with a flat droplet of BEC composed of potassium-39 atoms in an optical trap. This was the "universe" part of the simulator, and it had a spatial curvature that was related to the average density of the BEC. The quantum field part was played by phonons, quantized packets of sound energy moving through the fluid. These served as analogues to photons and other quantum fields fluctuating in the actual universe.

Quantized vibrations

The phonons were created by firing a laser at the BEC. When the laser was switched off, a phonon vibration spread through the droplet. Quantum particles follow trajectories determined by the curvature of the space time in which they move. Hence, by studyin the trajectory of these phonons, the researchers were able to confirm that the simulated universe had the spatial curvature they were looking for.

Finally, the expansion of space was cleverly instituted by adjusting the strength of interactions between the atoms in the BEC with magnetic fields. Decreasing the interaction strength also decreases the speed of sound, which achieves the same effect as a corresponding expansion of space. The idea is that in as expanded space, it takes longer for a signal to traverse its length. So instead of physically expanding the droplet, one can product the same effect by slowing down the signal.

Quantum fields and a dynamic spacetime interact in complex ways. One particularly curious feature is that an expanding space can product particles - an effect similar to the creation of Hawking radiation by black holes. By tuning the scattering length of the BEC, the scientists experimented with "rampling" up the size of their mini universe in different ways, corresponding to uniform, accelerating and decelerating expansions.

Seeding large-scale structure

What they observed did in fact correspond to the production of phonons, as expected. As these phonons interfered with one another, they produced patterns of random density fluctuation in the BEC. They had thus observed the same phenomenon. predicted to be responsibles for the seeding os large scale structure in the early universe.

Even this proof-of-principle experiment contained intriguing surprises. Not only were phonons produced by the expansionary ramps, but the characteristics of their collective oscillations depended on the type of ramp performed. The phonons contained information that revealed whether the expansion was constant, accelerating or decelerating. This interesting feature, which Sparn says was only understood through the interplay between theory and experiment, demonstrates the possibilities of pursuing these lab-based studies."

The Hexagonal Blueprint (Design Education DAC)


Conceptual impressions surrounding this post have yet to be substantiated, corroborated, confirmed or woven into a larger argument, context or network. Objective: To generate symbolic links between scientific discovery, design awareness and consciousness.
Design operates at the core of both teaching and learning. Every act of instruction and every moment of insight relies on symbols, words, images, gestures, diagrams, metaphors through which meaning is transmitted and transformed. In this sense, design is not limited to objects or artifacts; it is the structuring principle behind how ideas are shaped, communicated, and understood. Because each observer interprets symbols through unique experiences and perspectives, design manifests in as many forms as there are individuals to perceive it. 

Design and consciousness exist in a reciprocal relationship. Design depends upon consciousness to be perceived, interpreted, and enacted. Consciousness, in turn, becomes aware of itself through patterns, structures, and forms, that is, through design. To be aware is to recognize pattern and order; to design is to intentionally shape and organize awareness. Design thus serves as a bridge between awareness and consciousness, linking raw perception with reflective understanding. It is both the expression of consciousness and how awareness becomes structured and intelligible. 
Design can be discovered and expressed across all domains of human inquiry. Poetry, allegory, parable, and story organize experience symbolically; art gives form to emotion and intuition; science structures observation into measurable systems; philosophy articulates conceptual frameworks. In each case, consciousness expresses itself through symbolic languages of its own creation. These symbolic systems are not arbitrary, they are designed pathways through which meaning becomes communicable.



Similarly, every discipline; artistic, scientific, philosophical, operates according to its own internal design logic. Consciousness, at its broadest level, may be understood as a universal field of potential awareness. Design functions as the organizing force within that field. It defines, categorizes, and guides awareness toward manifestation. Through design, diffuse potential becomes structured experience; undefined possibility becomes articulated reality. 

Observation illustrates this process. What appears at first as a chaotic field of energy in motion, a constantly shifting and seemingly disordered environment, becomes intelligible when patterns are recognized. Through symbolic correspondence, we associate forms with meanings. This process of semantic association refines perception, sharpens focus, and supports identification and definition. The aim is to generate a coherent field of related variables into an interconnected web of meanings sharing common purpose and significance. Within this field of semantic potential, understanding expands. Knowing deepens into intuition; perception evolves into insight; creativity emerges from structured awareness. 

The term “design” itself exemplifies this dynamic. It carries multiple meanings depending on context and association. Each interpretation activates a different pattern of thought. Some patterns resonate more strongly than others depending on circumstances, but together they form a complex network of associations, much like a neural network in the brain. As attention moves from one conceptual node to another, new interpretations arise. Meanings shift, expand, and reorganize themselves ad infinitum.

Through this movement of focus, perception becomes reconstructed within new contexts. Dualities, such as order and chaos, subject and object, intention and emergence, interact dynamically. In this way, design is not static. It is an evolving structure of relationships through which consciousness continually interprets, reinterprets, and recreates its own experience.

archetype: a very typical example of a certain person or thing. A recurrent symbol or motif in literature, art, or mythology. (In Jungian psychology) a primitive mental image inherited from the earliest human ancestors, and supposed to be present in the collective unconscious.

Design teaches by means of sign, symbol, metaphor and analogy. Intelligence is transmitted, translated and transformed by means of design, which when properly communicated brings awareness to the observer. Education needs to create formats and methods that closely parallel and enhance the design function. 

education: teaching, schooling, tutoring, instruction, pedagogy, training, tutelage, preparation, guidance, indoctrination, enlightenment, cultivation, development, improvement, bettering, learning, knowledge, literacy, scholarship, culture, refinement
context: teacher and student, generally a formal situation or circumstance, direct, typically known and understood, purposeful, symbolic in context and content.
design: intention, aim, purpose, plan, intent, objective, goal, end, target, point, hope, desire, wish, dream, aspiration, ambition, idea. 
context: all are teachers/all are students, generally an informal situation or circumstance, indirect, less known and understood, meaningful, symbolic in context and content. 

The threads between education and design are communicated, translated and transformed symbolically by means of signs, symbols, metaphor and analogy.

There is a meaning in purpose and a purpose in meaning, both are designed to be made apparent for every sense of experience. 

Design learning demands intelligence and a keen understanding of the contrasts between what is artificial, unnatural and/or distorted and what is not.

The relationship between consciousness, awareness, enlightenment and the Quantum Field of Virtual Potential and Probability (QFVPP) is firmly rooted in a subjective and personal language designed to create, with discernment, an innate sense of Truth, Beauty and Goodness. Correspondences designed to create these relationships are wisdom based, intuitively sourced and imaginatively driven. 

The concept of "awakening" lies within the principles of a Design Consciousness, for it has no meaning without purpose, nor purpose without meaning.

Design as Conscious Mediation: A Metaphysical and Quantum-Semiotic Account within DAC Theory
 
Design is not merely an applied discipline nor solely an aesthetic strategy; it is a mediating ontology, an operative principle that simultaneously teaches and learns through structured symbolic exchange. Every pedagogical act is a designed event, and every act of design is pedagogical. Teaching and learning unfold through sign systems, metaphors, analogies, and symbolic correspondences that translate otherwise inarticulate experiences into communicable form (Peirce, 1931–1958; Lakoff & Johnson, 1980). Within this reciprocal structure, design becomes both the architecture of meaning and the vehicle through which consciousness recognizes itself.

From a semiotic standpoint, design functions as a dynamic interpretant, a process rather than a product where signs do not merely represent reality but actively generate it (Peirce, 1931–1958). The observer does not encounter design as an external artifact alone; rather, design is co-constituted through the interpretive participation of consciousness. 

As phenomenology has long suggested, perception is not passive reception but intentional structuring (Merleau-Ponty, 1962). Thus, design is expressed in as many modalities as there are observers capable of apprehending and participating in its field.

The Reciprocity of Design and Consciousness 

Within the Design-Awareness-Consciousness (DAC) framework, design and consciousness exist in reciprocal dependence. Design permeates forms of awareness because awareness requires structured differentiation to emerge; conversely, consciousness permeates design because without awareness there can be no articulation of form. This reciprocity reflects what philosopher Alfred North Whitehead (1978) termed “prehension”, the relational becoming of experience through patterned interaction. 

To be Design Consciousness is to inhabit the moment where awareness and intentional structuring coincide. Awareness without design remains unarticulated potential; design without awareness collapses into mechanical repetition. Their unity constitutes a state of reflexive participation: consciousness aware of its own structuring activity. In this sense, design is not added to consciousness, it is the operational syntax of consciousness. 

Contemporary cognitive science reinforces this view. The mind does not store static representations but organizes predictive models, design-like generative structures that continuously interpret incoming data (Friston, 2010). In predictive processing theory, perception itself is an inferential design process minimizing uncertainty through pattern stabilization. Consciousness thus becomes an emergent property of recursive model-building, an architecture of probabilistic coherence. 

Design as Symbolic Ecology 

Design manifests through poetry, allegory, parable, scientific modeling, philosophical abstraction, and aesthetic composition. These diverse expressions share a structural substrate: metaphor. Metaphor is not decorative language but cognitive infrastructure (Lakoff & Johnson, 1980). It enables the translation of the invisible into the visible, the abstract into the tangible, the ineffable into communicable form. 

Carl Jung (1968) described archetypes as symbolic attractors within the collective unconscious, patterns that repeatedly emerge to mediate between psyche and world. Design, in this view, becomes archetypal choreography: the patterned articulation of meaning across domains. Art, science, and philosophy each embody a design consciousness, distinct yet structurally homologous attempts to stabilize meaning within flux. 

The Universe, when interpreted through quantum theory, further supports this structural perspective. The quantum vacuum is not emptiness but a field of fluctuating potential (Bohm, 1980). What DAC terms the “Quantum Field of Virtual Potential and Probability” (QFVPP) parallels Bohm’s implicate order: a domain of enfolded information from which explicate structures emerge. Design may therefore be understood as the selection and stabilization of probability into perceivable pattern. Form becomes the temporary crystallization of possibility.

Observation, Semantic Association, and Neuronal Design 

Observation is not neutral; it is selective coherence imposed upon dynamic complexity. What appears chaotic, energy in motion becomes intelligible through semantic association. Neuroscientific research reveals that conceptual meaning is distributed across associative neural networks (Damasio, 1999). Words activate constellations of related states; each association is a node in a dynamic semantic field.


Thus, the term “design” does not denote a single concept but a networked topology of meanings, intentionality, order, creativity, structure, aesthetics, purpose. As attention moves from one neuronal cluster to another, new interpretations arise. Creativity emerges not from isolated cognition but from the traversal of this semantic lattice (Deleuze, 1994). Within DAC, this traversal corresponds to movement between gates: ontology, semiosis, temporality, causality, creativity, and structure each functioning as a phase within a larger energy-in-motion (EIM) circuit. Observation catalyzes the circuit by establishing correspondence; interpretation amplifies it through symbolic synthesis. 

Education as Designed Consciousness 

Education and design are structurally interdependent. Education operationalizes design through curriculum architecture, narrative framing, symbolic scaffolding, and experiential sequencing. John Dewey (1934) argued that aesthetic experience lies at the core of learning because it integrates meaning, emotion, and action. Learning becomes most effective when design principles, contrast, coherence, rhythm and  proportion are consciously employed. 

Yet there exists a distinction between design learning and institutionalized design education. The former is playful, exploratory, and generative; the latter can become rigid and procedural. Design learning thrives on curiosity and semantic mobility; design education risks reduction when detached from lived awareness. Intelligence, therefore, must discern between authentic creative structuring and artificial distortions, particularly in an era shaped by algorithmic mediation. 

Artificial intelligence exemplifies this tension. AI systems, especially generative models, construct probabilistic designs through pattern recognition and prediction (Goodfellow et al., 2016). They simulate creativity by recombining symbolic elements within learned distributions. However, while AI demonstrates structural design capability, it lacks intrinsic intentionality. It performs design; it does not experience awareness. The distinction underscores DAC’s emphasis on consciousness as participatory and value-oriented. 

Meaning, Purpose, and Axiological Fields 

Meaning and purpose are mutually constitutive. Meaning without purpose is inert abstraction; purpose without meaning is blind momentum. Their unity generates what classical philosophy termed the transcendental triad: Truth, Beauty, and Goodness (Plato, trans. 1992). These values function as attractors within consciousness, orienting discernment within the QFVPP

The notion of awakening, in DAC terms, is not mystical detachment but heightened recognition of this design process. It is awareness of awareness structuring itself. Enlightenment becomes the reflective stabilization of meaning and purpose across domains. 

Consciousness as Archetypal Pattern 

Consciousness may be described as conceptual, symbolic, and virtual, not illusory in the sense of unreal, but illusory in the sense of representational. It constructs holographic models of reality (Bohm, 1980). Neuroscience confirms that perception is a controlled hallucination constrained by sensory input (Friston, 2010).
